A working platform, not a yacht
What can be said about the POL Lux is architectural rather than numerical. It is a Swedish solar-electric catamaran built around a reconfigurable open deck that converts between sunbed, sleeping space and flat cargo area, with a roll-down canvas that encloses the whole thing and roof-mounted panels charging at anchor as well as underway. That is a specific and sensible answer to a specific problem: archipelago and lake owners who need one boat to carry people, luggage and building materials to a cabin without a road, and who would rather not run a combustion outboard past their neighbours at seven in the morning.
Why you cannot shortlist it yet
No motor output, battery capacity, speed, range or price is published, and our record carries no manufacturer website either. That is the review. Every question a buyer would reasonably ask — how far, how fast, how much, how long to charge, and how much the solar actually contributes over a Swedish season rather than a brochure afternoon — is unanswered, and none of it can be responsibly estimated.
The absence of a published web presence is itself worth weighing: it raises questions about production volume, warranty and who supports the boat in five years. Approach this one as a direct enquiry to the builder, not as a comparison-shopping candidate.
